Teachers of the department annually take an active part in creative exhibitions.
In May 2021, the largest jewelry site in Russia, "Typical Jeweler", hosted the International Jewelery Competition "Battle of Jewelers IX". Teachers of the Department of Fine Arts and Design, members of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, Tulepbergen and Samat Sarmanbekovs, took part in it and were awarded special diplomas "For the Preservation of National Traditions in Jewelry Art".
The dynasty of jewelers Sarmanbekovs and senior lecturer, member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askat Abdeshev were also awarded certificates for participating in the International Online Exhibition "Atyrau Art Creative", dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Atyrau University named after H. Dosmukhamedov.
